Welcome to my online portfoio! Here you'll find examples of some of my various media productions, including, but not limited to video, digital artwork, and drawings. You'll find that Parkour (L'art du deplacement) is featured prominantly in my work, and as a traceur myself, my work philosophy mirrors that of the discipline: I'm always looking for new ways to challenge myself and to further develop my skills.

Thanks for taking the time to look around!

"Jumps 2"

Another series of photoshopped Parkour pictures. This time, I was the one taking the photos, so I was able to frame the shot how I wanted in addition to doing the editing. I played around with varying degrees of blur added to the background, as well as the color balance and lightness/contrast, with the result that each picture has a totally different "feel" to it.

"Gainesville Jam"

This is a video I edited for http://www.overflux.com/ with footage from one of the most recent Parkour gatherings. I shot it with my Canon HV20 and edited the footage in Premiere.

"Jumps"

Each of these pictures was originally a series of individual pictures taken by Grant Miller. At his behest I edited them in Photoshop in order to show the original movement as best a possible.

"Drink Responsibly"

This is a video I made for my Assembling Digital Media class, the goal of which was to make a commercial advertising some product. It was shot on my Canon HV20 and edited in Adobe Premiere. This was my first experience directing parkour action, and was definitely a learning experience.

"Grant at the SU"

This is a project I did for my Cinematic Expressions & Aesthetics class, the goal of which was to put cinematic design elements to practice. I edited this in Photoshop to crop the frame, alter the color scheme and lightness/contrast, and to remove a pole in the background behind Grant.

Lisses Travel Posters

These are a trio of travel posters I made for my Digital Imagery class. I took some pictures of famous training spots in Lisses and used Photoshop to add the words to the buildings and to alter the coloring (Each poster is a predominantly a primary color). It was a fun challenge to try to make the words seem a part of the background.

Draw'ns

These are a series of commissioned drawings I did for various friends and family back home over the years. All were based on original photographs.
